Welcome to the 2026-2027 Longfellow Community

Dear Longfellow families:

We are very fortunate here to have such amazing staff, teachers, and parents that work together to create an environment of Excellence for our children.

The 2026-2027 school year will be different, exciting and perhaps challenging, but the commitment to Excellence for our community remains unchanged - to provide our students, teachers, and administrators with the support they will need to provide the best possible education to our students.

Our LMS PTA works tirelessly to ensure the entire LMS family has every opportunity to be involved in our children's success. We are always looking for more members!

The PTA serves a vital role in supporting the LMS community tradition of Excellence, and that role has only become more important during this time:

Impactful: The LMS PTA will invite key players such as the principal, school staff, and other speakers to best help support LMS families with monthly talks.
Community Building (online): The LMS PTA will support a feeling of community and school spirit even online.
Provide Resources: As a family engagement association, the LMS PTA plays a unique role as a go-between with your school and your community.
Keeping Revenue Coming In: The LMS PTA can’t do all of the great things it does without resources. We will continue to fundraise and support local businesses (for instance, with Family take-out nights).

Together we can inspire and support Excellence at Longfellow.

Open House is Wednesday, August 19! It's that time of year to start school rejoin old friend and make new ones. We can't wait to see you at this year's Open House at 3:30 pm. You can find us at the front entrance and the Lecture Hall. Get a free t-shirt and magnet when you join the PTA and commit to paying your dues. You can pay dues using any of the platforms below
