About Longfellow PTA
The Longfellow Middle School Parent Teacher Association is a not-for-profit organization operating under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. We have received a group exemption granted by the Virginia Congress of Parents and Teachers, otherwise known as the Virginia PTA. As a 501(c)3 organization we are exempted from paying federal income tax on money earned from our fundraising programs. This exemption is also extended to any donors who may wish to deduct contributions to the Chesterbrook ES PTA. Our taxpayer ID is 54-1470716. Please consult a tax professional for further details about donor deductions.
The Longfellow PTA operates under the auspices of the National PTA. We are part of the Northern Virginia District PTA and a member of the Fairfax County Council of PTAs. A portion of the membership dues supports the National PTA, Virginia PTA, and FCCPTA.
Our Local Unit ID Number is 00014187.
